DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition on Switch 2: file size, cartridge and performance
DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition arrived as a native Switch 2 version on September 24, 2026. Square Enix's official figures give it two modes, picked from the system menu: Performance at 1080p and 60 FPS, or Quality at 1440p and 30 FPS. The install is 23.2 GB, and the physical version is a Game-Key Card, so the cartridge only unlocks a download. For a long turn-based RPG, the 60 FPS mode makes exploring smoother, while Quality mode is the one to choose for a sharper image on a big TV.
